Who Can You Invite to Baptist Church

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

For many people in the community, the baptist church has always been a part of a good routine, day-to-day life, but for a few individuals, that hasn’t always been the case. If the church has been a part of your Sunday routine for as long as you can remember, then it’s likely you’ve forgotten how scary it can be walking into a foreign building, risking being seen by people—truly being seen. Hence,it is the responsibility of every Christian to share the Good News with those with whom God brings us into contact. That is why you should practice personal sharing about Christ and inviting friends to church.

Invite a family member to baptist church

And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

Matthew 12:49-50

Those within your immediate family are the most fertile ground for planting seeds of the Gospel.

Invite an extended family member to baptist church

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Colossians 3:16

Relatives with whom you have contact and who can observe your life may need to hear the Gospel—from you.

Invite a close personal friend to baptist church

When Job’s three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite, heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him.

Job 2:11

These can develop from many sources, but it is the trust and intimacy you share which makes your influence significant.

Invite a work associate to baptist church

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9

Family is at the top of the list, but we spend the next greatest amount of time with other people in vocational and educational contexts.

Invite a neighbor to baptist church

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

Hebrews 13:1-2

Invite someone you don’t know to baptist church

“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”

Hebrews 13:2

There will always be that someone in the community who is a stranger to you. Manifesting biblical values of integrity, compassion, and generosity at the community level will open unexpected doors of divine opportunity.

As God’s people, you are called to be Christ’s ambassadors. You are called to follow his example. You are called to be lovers of strangers helping to reconcile them to the Savior. The baptist church is extending invitations to the world to go and follow with Christ. Christ invited people to follow him and now asks his people to invite others to follow him.
