NextGen Director

Elementary

Grades 1-6

Hello and welcome to NextGen 16,

I’m thrilled to be part of a team of dedicated teachers and leaders serving in kid’s ministry. Our goal is to present the message of redemption and transformation that’s found in the Word of God. Why? So that kids may live the life they were created for: glorifying the Lord and delighting in Him forever.

We know that God’s Word has the power to transform lives. We know the relevance of sharing this message with a loving and caring approach. Your kids are our main concern and we cherish the opportunity we have to share with them.

We want this ministry to be fun and we strive to make it a place where kids want to be – each and every week. The great theologian, Charles Spurgeon, once said, “His [Jesus] heart is like a great harbor wherein many little ships might cast anchor.” We are committed to our mission and we look forward to you and your child coming to experience Jesus at NextGen 16.

Please let me know how I may be of further assistance. Thanks for reading!

Wednesday

Night

Children’s Wednesday Night is AWANA Clubs.

The Awana Clubs ministry of Calvary Road has been a staple children’s ministry since 1982. It is an integral part of our discipleship ministry for children and one that we are so excited to offer our church family and the community. Our Clubs run through the school year (September – May) and are offered for preschool (ages 3 &4 – Cubbies), early elementary (Grades K-2 – Sparks), and upper-elementary (Grades 3-6 – Truth & Training [T&T]).

Seeking the King

The wise men worshipped Jesus; Herod sought to kill him.

May 5

Wise men from the east rejoiced when they learned that the King of the Jews had been born. They brought gifts and worshipped him. The king of Judea, King Herod, reacted far differently. He became jealous and angry and attempted to destroy Jesus!
