6:30 - 9:00 P.M. in the Gymnasium

Potluck Style – Each person/family is asked to bring 1-2 food dish(es). The dish(es) can be a main dish, side dish, salad, breads, appetizer, or dessert.

 

Students and their household family members are all invited to attend.

 

Everyone is encouraged to participate in our White Elephant gift exchange. Bring a wrapped “mysterious” gift valued at $15 max that would be appropriate for a male and female.

Party Planning Checklist

  1. Your entire household is invited and encouraged to attend
  2. Each person/family is asked to bring 1-2 food dish(es). The dish(es) can be a main dish, side dish, salad, breads, appetizer, or dessert. CRBC will provide the following:
    • Two 20lb. Turkeys
    • Two Spiral Hams
    • Mashed Potatoes
    • Stuffing
    Becky Corey is coordinating the dinner and will be reaching out to solicit your 1-2 dish(es) through www.signupgenius.com. She can be reached by email at bmc4jc@yahoo.com or by phone at 703-909-2111.
  3. Separate Sunday Small Group classes from our Student Ministry will be working on preparing a short spot of entertainment to perform at the party. All classes are encouraged to participate. Chip & Pastor Corey will vote on the best class performance and present prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. This, my friend, should be interesting!
  4. There will be a White Elephant Gift Exchange for each family (or student who comes w/out family members). You may choose on whether you participate in this event. We hope EVERYONE chooses to join in the fun. Here are the rules for a White Elephant Gift Exchange:
    • Purchase or find an unused gift that costs (or is worth) no more than $15. Gift can be a serious gift or a gag gift but be kind and respectful in your gag!
    • Wrap gift then bring it with you with no gift tag attached.Hams
    • You will draw a random number at the party.
    • Number 1 picks a wrapped gift and opens it.
    • Number 2 can take the opened gift or select a wrapped gift.
    • If your gift gets taken, then you get to choose a new gift.
    • Each gift can be stolen up to a max of 2 times.
    • Continue in order until all gifts are opened.
    • At the end, person #1 has the option to keep his gift or steal from someone else.
  5. RSVP your attendance at the provided SignUpGenious link (including the number in your party) and your dish(es) choice no later than Tuesday, December 17.
