When we look back at the very beginning to God’s purpose for creating the world, we see that He created everything for his glory and good pleasure (Is.43:7). It is only vital that we strive to bring Him glory by submitting to His Word. God’s Word transforms us by the power of the Holy Spirit–and it is through God’s Word that we learn to honor and please him (Ps. 119:9-11; 2 Tim. 3:16-17).

We desire that our young people take full ownership of their faith, knowing what they believe and in whom they have trusted. We are devoted to cultivating a loving community and open environment in which we can ask honest questions regarding who God is and who we are in Christ. Our prayer is that we would all establish our identity and satisfaction in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

“[S]o that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ…”. Eph. 4:14-15

Jesus Defends His Authority

Jesus shows that his power is from God.

September 15

When the Pharisees attributed Jesus’ healing of a demon-possessed man to Satan’s power, Jesus said a divided kingdom cannot stand. The Pharisees refused to recognize Jesus as the Messiah because their hearts were not right. Jesus gave them the sign of Jonah, whose three days and nights in a fish was a picture of Jesus’ time in the grave before his resurrection.
