When we look back at the very beginning to God’s purpose for creating the world, we see that He created everything for his glory and good pleasure (Is.43:7). It is only vital that we strive to bring Him glory by submitting to His Word. God’s Word transforms us by the power of the Holy Spirit–and it is through God’s Word that we learn to honor and please him (Ps. 119:9-11; 2 Tim. 3:16-17).

We desire that our young people take full ownership of their faith, knowing what they believe and in whom they have trusted. We are devoted to cultivating a loving community and open environment in which we can ask honest questions regarding who God is and who we are in Christ. Our prayer is that we would all establish our identity and satisfaction in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

“[S]o that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ…”. Eph. 4:14-15

It’s time to Rise.

We can trust the New Testament

The Holy Spirit guided the apostles to record God’s words.

March 24

The apostles were eyewitnesses of the things Jesus did. Jesus promised the apostles that he would send the Holy Spirit, the Helper, to bring to their remembrance all that he said and did. The things they wrote were inspired by God through the Holy Spirit. What they wrote in the Bible is true.

Chip . NextGen712 . Director .

Chip Bonar

My name is Chip Bonar and it is my privilege to serve as the NextGen712 Youth Director at Calvary Road Baptist Church. I am very excited about the mission team we are taking to Belize this year. We plan to minister to families in the town of Orange Walk with Blessing Bags, serve the children through Vacation Bible School, street evangelism and help the church with a construction project repairing a building on the property for children’s classroom space.

My life verse is John 15:5 “I Am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing” ESV

Every time we go to the mission field lives are changed. Usually, it is our own as we see needs met and return thankful for the blessings, we often take for granted at home in America. We hope to make a positive difference in lives while on mission this summer in Central America
